Overview
The User Experience Design (UXD) Lead is primarily responsible of overseeing all user experience and design aspects across the entire Profit Isle product suite, as well as presenting to stakeholders and working with product and development teams to create a cohesive customer experience throughout our modules and features. Additional responsibilities include supporting maintenance of the external marketing website design and gamification approaches, where appropriate within the solution.
The UXD Lead will work directly with product managers/owners and developers to create a user experience aligned with current best practices and Profit Isle user specific needs. They will conduct research on and be a go to resource for around qualitative and quantitative user experience, developing a deep understanding of our customer and consumer insight. They will deliver findings, translating those into engaging, technically feasible designs and user journeys that deliver the highest level of user satisfaction, engagement, and conversion.
Responsibilities
- Review existing solution information architecture, workflow, and user experience processes, identifying usability issues and providing recommendations for enhancement
- Create a scalable design system, leveraging industry best practices
- Solve complex problems, transforming mockups and business requirements into experiences
- Produce sketched concepts, user journeys, wireframes, and interactive prototypes that both satisfy business requirements but also achieve best possible experiences
- Enhance user experience by creating seamless navigation through the client lifecycle from initialization to fully onboarded onto the solution
- Use recent studies and findings to establish the best overall design elements to include in UX design experiences
- Research latest and most suitable UX tools and ensure internal processes follow the best UX standards and practices

- Proficient with visual design programs such as Adobe XD and/or others
- Ability to prioritize and manage several milestones and projects efficiently
- Adaptable to changing conditions and unexpected obstacles, adjusting approaches to tasks in response to new information to accomplish business objectives
- Experience creating storyboards and product prototyping
- Experience working within an Agile environment
- Strong spoken and written communication and active listening skills, capable of presenting complex concepts to technical and non-technical audiences

Education, Qualifications, and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in user experience design or related field
- 5+ years of experience with designing user experience for web-based platforms/applications
- Portfolio of work demonstrating process and skills
