1. Accessing the Chatbot

  • Profit Assist is available directly within the Profit Isle platform.
  • You can use it through text or voice commands.

2. Best Practices for Effective Use

  • Start with simple and specific questions for quicker responses.
  • Focus on top/bottom performers, trends, and comparative analysis.

  • “What are my top 5 most profitable items in 2024?”
  • “What are my bottom 5 suppliers in 2024 and why?”

What Profit Assist Is NOT

  • It is not a customer support chatbot. Profit Assist is focused on business insights and data analysis.
  • It does not handle billing, login, or account access issues.
  • It does not initiate changes to your data or configurations.
  • It is not a general-purpose chatbot; it is trained specifically to support data-driven decisions on the Profit Isle platform.

Suggested Workflow with Profit Assist

1. Ask a specific question

  • Example: “Give me the top 10 customers in Q1 2024.”

2. Request insights

  • Follow up with: “Give me insights.”

3. Request recommendations

  • Example: “Give me recommendations and quantifiable actions.”

4. Loop it back

  • You can copy any insight or action back into the chatbot and ask it to expand or execute on it.

5. Create charts

  • Ask Profit Assist to create a visual: “Show me a chart of SKU profit trends in 2023.”

  • “It didn’t understand my question” → Try rephrasing or using simpler terms.
  • “It gave incomplete results” → Add more filters like time frame, customer, or SKU.
  • “It’s not responding” → Refresh the page or confirm you’re logged into the platform.
  • “It said it couldn’t help” → Your question may not be supported yet we we trace this so we can improve.
  • “It says the customer/product/SKU doesn’t exist” → Double-check spelling or formatting. Sometimes it confuses numbers (e.g., customer ID vs. name). Try to rephrase the question
  • “It misidentifies names with numbers or vice versa” → Try providing more context, e.g., “Customer named ‘123 Supplies’” or “SKU code: 45678.”
  • “It’s mixing up filters or showing wrong year” → Reconfirm your request with clear date or segment filters.

Security and Privacy

  • Data Usage: Your data is not used to train AI models outside of Profit Isle.
  • Third-Party Sharing: No data is shared with external parties
  • Security Standards: Your data is encrypted and protected with strict access controls.
